Outhouse by the Church

Nomas Foundation, Rome
28 September – 14 December 2018

Outhouse by the Church, my first exhibition in Rome, focused on the marginal subject of public toilets. These are places where it is possible to lose the imaginary border between public and personal. The exhibition dealt with this subject on the basis of two outhouses: one of them is a nearly 100-year-old Kodavere church’s outhouse and the other, a public toilet at the Flaminio Railway Station in Rome.
